Christmas is over...

It's hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone already! I love this time of year so much, it's no fun to think it's already over. We had such a wonderful Christmas eve at my parents home. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and then we all sat down to watch the grandchildren put on a nativity program as my brother-in-law read the scriptures of Christ's birth. It was so sweet. Then we sang Christmas carol's and handed out gifts. I have the most amazing parents ever, I'm grateful we live close to them, they mean the world to me. And then to top it off we had a wonderful Christmas day filled with lots of good times with family and friends. We are so blessed to have all that we have in life.

HOW TO GET A SIX PACK


It's not quite New Years yet and you probably haven't thought about your new years resolution, but now is actually a great time to think about what goals you want to accomplish for the new year.

One of the main questions I'm asked is how to get rock-hard abs. I'm going to share with you my secrets of success. This year you can add having a coveted six pack to your list of resolutions! You can have a tight, sexy middle by following my Six Pack Ab program. By committing to it you will have a killer washboard stomach. It's not easy but it's well worth your time and energy to work towards such a lofty goal.

First you need to look at your family's genes. What is your physique like now? How about your family, what are your parents and siblings figures like? Does your family carry most of their weight in their abdominal area or the bottom half? If you carry your weight mainly around the middle then it will take you a bit longer to see your six pack than those that carry their weight around the lower half. Don't be discouraged, just realize where you gain weight first will be the last place you lose it. It's a bummer for sure, but if you understand how the body burns fat then you'll be better equipped to accomplish your goal of getting a ripped middle.

For starters, you can't pin point a muscle group and develop that certain area. The entire body has to burn and shed fat in order to see the beloved six pack. We all have abdominal muscles, it's just a matter of loosing the padding that's covering them.

To achieve the results you'll need to reduce your caloric intake and be sure to eat small meals throughout the day. Each meal should consist of a lean protein, a complex carb and some good fat every 3 to 4 hours. Have your largest meal at the beginning of the day tapering off to a small meal in the evening. Try to have your last meal between 6 and 7pm. Be sure to drink at least a gallon of purified water to keep your metabolism burning and to remove toxins from your body.

Next you'll need to do cardio at least 5 days a week and weight lifting at least 3 days a week. As you strength train you'll use your core muscle to stable your body which will strengthen your abdominal muscles. Doing core training such as yoga and Pilate's is also an excellent choice for core strengthening.

Doing exercises that focuses on the core muscles is necessary. Here are a list of various exercises to do 3 times a week. Do not train your abs everyday, they need recovering time too just like your other muscles. Do each exercise 3 sets of 25.


Six Pack Ab Routine:

1. Crunches - with your legs up in the air at a 90 degree angle.
2. Twist Crunches - reaching with your elbow across your body to the opposite knee.
3. Three-Up Crunches - do 3 small crunches in a row holding each little crunch as you go up.
4. Bicycles - lay on your back and raise your pelvis up and do bicycles with your legs, 25 forward and 25 backward.
5. V-Ups - lay on your back raise your legs and arms at a 90 degree angel hold for 2 seconds and release back down to beginning position.

You have to commit to following this program for at least 3 to 4 months to see rewarding results. If you really want results fast then be sure to drink Liv Sxinney and Go every day for maximum definition. Having a shredded six pack isn't only attractive but its essential for optimal health.

WHY GO IS A SUPERIOR L-ARGININE PRODUCT


What a great weekend! I enjoyed time with my family, visited with my parents and went to church yesterday. And I made a delicious turkey dinner, I had to decide which turkey recipe I wanted to use for Thanksgiving. I actually create my own recipes; my rosemary, thyme & maple syrup recipe was delicious! I'm often asked and approached while out and about on how to get in shape. I always tell everyone about the power of Go. I've mentioned many times how much I love Zxoom's product, Go. It's hard to believe that the holidays are already here. I love this time of year! I relish the feelings and excitement of the seasons. I embrace the love and warmth of family coming together. I love hearing Christmas music in the stores and seeing all of the festive decorations. I seriously love it all! The energy in the air is of gratitude and of giving more than any other time of the year. Gratitude and love is the most powerful feelings we can have.

But I don't look forward to over eating or do I want the dreaded fat gains that typically come along with this joyful season. As old man winter sneaks up behind us so does all of the delicious temptations to over indulge. But this year can be different. You can keep your lean physique by following my survival guide for the holidays. You don't have to gain the dreaded 10 lbs as the rest of the world, in fact you don't even have to gain a single pound! It's true! You can keep your lean physique and continue to lose weight by following my survival guide for the holidays.

This time of year most people gain anywhere from 5 to 10 lbs of unwanted fat! They become too busy or overwhelmed with the holidays that they don't prioritise time for exercise. Slowly maybe without even realizing it they begin to self sabotage all of their hard work in just a few short weeks. They soon feel low in energy and then find that their jeans are tighter than they use to be. We've all been there and gained the dread extra weight from all the yummy treats our loving relatives & friends so kindly shared.

PLAN FOR SUCCESS

By planning ahead you won't have to gain any weight at all! In fact you can continue to lose fat and gain muscle by planning a head. By eating clean 90 percent of the time you'll be able to maintain your lean hard body. Be sure to eat your biggest meal of the day the first part of the day and the smallest meal at the end of the day. Here is a great guideline to keep you on a road to success by following a healthy eating plan. Remember if your fail to plan you plan to fail, so be prepared and plan ahead.

Breakfast: Make this the biggest meal of the day consisting of lean protein, complex carb & good fat

HOW TO SET GOALS


What a beautiful day! I woke up to the sun's colorful rays coming up over the mountains, it was gorgeous. This time of year is so peaceful. I took the picture of my barn last year about this time of the season. It really is breath taking each time I see the sky light up with the colors of life. I call it Heaven's gift, it's truly magical to see.

Well, I've been one busy girl lately. As you know I recently joined another phenomenal company called iLearningGlobal. I became a member to increase my skill sets to assist me in growing my Liv Sxinney business. I've already increased my closings and income in just a few weeks! I'm tickled pink!

iLearningGlobal is a global university on the internet that offers world famous specialist and self help teachers from around the world. It has been a huge blessing in my life! It's my goal to improve upon my life each new day by increasing my skill sets & emotional intelligence. I really do dream big dreams. I try to learn as often as I can to be able to accomplish my dreams. I'm fortunate to be gifted with this wonderful opportunity to be able to learn from some of the most humble, kind & gifted masters alive today. Each day I study a new topic on iLearningGlobal. Recently I've been listening and focusing my daily lessons on goal setting and public speaking. I've learned a lot in a very short amount of time. Brian Tracy is my favorite specialist. He teaches from his heart. I most enjoy watching his goal stream line HD videos. It has already impacted my life in such a way that I just had to share what I've learned with you.

You should make goals for each area in your life. Every aspect of your life is an outcome of your thoughts. You can look at a person and know what his/her thoughts have been by the quality of life he/she lives. It's truly remarkable how powerful our thoughts and feelings are in creating the life experiences. Living a life without goals is like treading water in the middle of the ocean or trying to drive to a destination without a map in the fog. To succeed you must write down specific goals. And to accomplish your goals you must focus on them each day as though you have already achieved them. And give thanks each time you think of your goals.

Today, take out a piece of paper and write down 10 goals that you would like to come to fruition within the next twelve months. Write them in the present tense followed by an action verb and then conclude with a date of which you would like to achieve the goal. For example you could say for weight loss, "I weigh ___ by Dec. 15, 2008", "I wear a size ___ now (Dec. 10, 2008) or "I am very fit, thin and strong by Nov. 30, 2008" You can either write the date prefacing it by stating "by" or you can write the date in a parenthesis. By focusing on a completion date and focusing on your goal until you accomplish it, you will be in the top two percent of the world that truly succeed. Be sure you hand write your goals so that the subconscious mind can go right to work. By doing so, you will send out energy frequencies into the universe which will put action into place to fulfill your goals. It works for everyone and it works every time. Put a circle around the most important goal and focus and think about it all day every day until the goal is accomplished. Then refocus your attention on your next couple of goals until they are all accomplished.

When you really focus each day on your goals you will begin to have synchronicity come into place. Be sure to keep your heart and mind open to the promptings and opportunities you will receive in accordance to fulfilling your goals, then act upon them. You were born to have abundance in all areas of your life, including health, wealth and happiness. You are on earth to live an abundant, fulfilling & joyful life! So believe in yourself! Create the body and life you've always dreamed of. Write down your goals and place them in a location where you can read them every day. Visualize and feel yourself as though you have already accomplished each goal. By doing so your subconscious will go to work instantaneously in creating your wishes and dreams. It works! TIP OF THE DAY....

Be True to Yourself!

Today be completely honest with yourself. Honor your word and respect yourself. If you made the choice not to have any sugary snacks or sodas, then don't! By keeping your promise to yourself you'll become more confident and empowered. How can you love and respect others if you do not fully and unconditionally do the same to yourself?

Treat your body with kindness. Speak lovingly to yourself - literally. If you don't feel great about your body weight say out loud throughout the day, "I love my body." "I am at my perfect body weight." "I feel lighter and healthier each new day." Then fuel your body with wholesome clean foods. By balancing the body you will naturally have more willpower and you'll be able to be fully honor yourself. Soon you won't crave the foods that are toxic to your body. And you'll have loads more energy! It's a great feeling!

The Fountain of Youth Discovered

This morning we woke up to a winter wonderland or should I say a blizzard! It was sooo cold! I was one cold girl when I had to go out to feed the horses. That's typical Utah weather, last week it was in the high 70's and today's high is 36 degrees. Surprisingly, I welcomed it with a warm heart. I made a hot yummy breakfast for my family and turned on Christmas music. I love music and always have soft music playing all day long. It sets a loving, peaceful tone in our home. And Christmas music is by far my favorite! I love this time of year everyone starts to think of others and seems happier. It's truly is the most wonderful time of the year!

I woke up to another pleasant surprise which I was thrilled about. I got on the scale and my body fat was down another 2.5%!!! And I was down 2 lbs! My body fat is the lowest its ever been. Needless to say, I'm very, very pleased! I told my husband that I discovered the Fountain of Youth! I bet you're wondering what it is... It's a combination of drinking Liv Sxinney all day long, taking Go twice a day (morning and night) and doing P90X 5 times a week. That's it! It's incredibly simple and works miracles. I actually feel & look younger too! Of course I should also add that I eat 5 clean, balanced meals as well. The secret to Go is to take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and again at night two hours after your last meal. I typically take it between 8 and 9 pm. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

TRICKS FOR NOT TREATING



HAPPY HALLOWEEN! What a fun time of year. My kids are really looking forward to an awesome day. They get to wear their costumes to school. I love to watch the enthusiasm in their eyes and the extra little jump in each step. We carved pumpkins last night, each of them made their own design, they all turned out adorable! We're having really warm weather. For the first time that I can remember we were outside looking at the jack-o-lanterns light up without jackets on. It was wonderful! Too bad it can't last, but at least we've been blessed to have nice weather for this long.

For those of you that love sugar today will be a day of great temptation. But do not fear, you can have a trick or two up your sleeve to ward off those haunting treats. Remember nothing tastes as good as thin feels! Literally! Visualize yourself saying, "No, thank you." When people offer you a sugaring treat you really can say "No, thank you." You won't offend them, they won't care if you eat it or not. But you'll feel proud and more self confident by honoring yourself and your goals.

Be sure to take extra cRave with you today. Have a stash in your car or purse to be well prepared when you go to a social gathering. Just before you leave for a party tonight take some cRave along with a big swig of Liv SXinney water. That will help give you the willpower to say no and to stay focused on your goals. If you really want a treat have a protein bar instead. It will taste like a candy bar but without the fat and empty calories. And if you choose to have some candy have 1 or 2 bite size rather than a bunch throughout the day. TIP OF THE DAY....

EATING CLEAN

If you don't exercise as you should then do your body a favor and feed it the fuel its craving. Which is whole nutritious foods. Eat whole grains, whole wheat pasta, clean protein, lentils, fresh fruits & veggies and drink plenty of filtered water.

Try to eat at at least 3 servings of veggies and fruits a day along with eating clean protein with each meal to build strong muscles and burn fat. And as always drink Liv SXinney all day long. Liv Sxinney will balance the body and keep it in an alkaline ph balance, which will ward off illness, stress and disease.

By feeding the body whole foods it will do wondrous things for you. You'll have more energy, look younger, spend less time in the doctors office, have healthier skin & hair and you'll feel fantastic! MAKING TIME FOR EXERCISE

Wow! It sure has been a busy day. We're finishing up a custom home for my sister right now, it turned out absolutely gorgeous!!! When it's fully completed I'll take pictures and post them on my blog. I'm excited for my sisters family to move in soon. It's such a beautiful home, I'm really happy for her.

I've also been running around doing Liv Sxinney too. I met with an awesome friend named Alisha for lunch today. We had a wonderful time together. It turns out that she has already signed up for Liv Sxinney under my top sponsor. I didn't realize that when we met. I ran into Alisha at the gas station and remembered her from a restaurant I had recently been to. It turns out that we have a lot in common. We're going to start working together now. I love synchronicity! :)

I hear people say all the time that they don't have time for exercise. I can totally understand that, life really can be so busy. So if you're one of those extra busy people here are some ways to incorporate exercise into your every day routine.

1. Park your car far away from the building you're going to. Then walk briskly to your destination to burn a few extra calories along the way.

2. Take the stairs. If you work above the main floor by all means, take the stairs! And when you do (if you have good knees) take two steps at a time as quickly as you can. By doing so you'll feel your glutes, hamstrings, and quads getting tighter and tighter over time.

3. Clean your house! Turn up the tunes and dance to the music while cleaning. Vacuum quickly, mop well, and dust the entire home all on the same day. And of course always take your stairs two steps at a time.

4. Walk to the mail box. How many times do you pick up your mail in your car? Next time take a walk and get some fresh air. You'll feel refreshed and re-energized by doing so.

5. Walk your kids to school. If your children walk to school, put on your gym shoes and walk with them. You'll have one-on-one bonding time and you'll get fit along the way.

6. Do yard work. Mow your own lawn and weed your garden weekly. It's not only incredible exercise but it's highly therapeutic too!

7. Make-up Exercises. When putting on your make-up or blow drying your hair do what I call Make-up exercises. You can do leg curls (to lift your behind), calve raises, side leg raises, squats and lunges (before getting dressed). I do these exercises every morning while getting ready for the day. You can get a good work out without stepping into the gym.

8. Sweep your sidewalks and gutters. Keeping your sidewalks & gutters clear of dirt will not only make it safer for your children while they're at play but will also give your home added curb appeal. Sweeping will strengthen your upper and lower body at the same time. So clean up an burn off the fat!

9. Walk your dog. Your pets need exercise too. Grab your leash and head for some fresh air. You'll not only feel stronger by doing so but you'll also be able to clear your mind as well.

10. Wake up 15 minutes earlier. If you really want to change your physique then you have to prioritise your goals. I suggest waking up 15 minutes earlier each day and exercise. In the beginning it may seem daunting but after awhile you'll see the results of your efforts and will want to increase your time. And then before you know it you'll be getting up 30 minutes earlier and then an hour to insure you get your exercising in for the day.

Make time for exercise each day. Be sure to make it a priority! Use some of these simple ideas to help jump start your LivFit Lifestyle. Be sure to drink Liv SXinney all day long. NEW FAMILY PHOTOS







I'm embarrassed to say but I haven't had a professional family photo taken since my oldest son was a baby, until last week. My amazing neighbor is a phenomenal photographer and she was kind enough to do a trade with us. You can see her work at http://www.byjess.com/blog/ My husband fixed her computer awhile back and in return she did out photos. I was so pleased with them that I had to share them. We seriously had so much fun! I'm taking my fitness training to the next level, I'm putting together a web site and I've asked Jess to be my photographer for all my pics. I adore her and am so grateful to have her as my dear friend and neighbor.

I did an expo last weekend was very slow due to UEA weekend. Considering we still did well and signed up 2 people to be Liv Sxinney distributor's and got 30 good leads. Irene and I had a ball together. I love her so much! My family stayed the weekend too. They were in heaven swimming and playing with dad while I was working. It was great to have a retreat but it was equally as fun to come home to our animals. We came home a day early because we missed Chance, our dog and of course our horses. They're part of our family too. We love them so much.
While we were on our little get-a-way I decided to enjoy some treats. I basically decided to rewarded myself for accomplishing my fitness goals that I had set. So I did! But in the end I had way too many dark chocolate m&m's (yummy). After a few weeks of eating really clean I gave myself the okay to eat the m&m's I brought for my kids. Unfortunately I ate too many (as it often goes). Regretably I now have to get back on track and repair the damage. It's good to eat a treat now and again both for your body and your mind. It was fun to feel free that way - but I have to say again NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS! And boy did I remind myself of that this weekend! ;)

WHAT A WOMAN WANTS EXPO

It's such a beautiful day here in Utah. It makes for a happy, cheerful morning. Well, my family is heading up to What A Woman Wants Expo in Park City today. We're running a booth today and tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to sharing the Liv SXinney products with those that attend. I'm doing it with Irene, my dear Sxinney Sister, we're going to have a ball I'm sure. I'll take lots of pictures and I'll post some after the weekend. My kids have school off until next Tuesday for fall break so we're going to make a weekend of it. We're all thrilled to get away and enjoy some R&R (well my family will anyway). I've set my intention on attracting business builders and those who sincerely want to lose weight and improve their health. Liv Sxinney is the most amazing product I've EVER tried - literally! I've study health and nutrition for the past 15 years and I have yet to see a product that not only assists in weight loss in a safe way, but also improve both physical and mental health. I've found a gold mine! I'm incredibly grateful to have Liv Sxinney in my life.

Begin Your Transformation Today!!!!

It's been a great morning. I woke up feeling happy and well. Last weekend was soooo much fun!!! Matthew and I had such a blast together. We went shopping all day Saturday. We were having such a great time together that we decided to extend our date. We spontaneously booked a hotel and stayed the night in Salt Lake. Our kids were excited for us to get away, they could see how much happy we were. And boy did we have a ball! I'll never forget last weekend that's for sure. I'm grateful I married my best friend. He's such an amazing husband, I love him more than words are able to express.

So the other day my dear, dear friend called and asked for some fitness advice. I was grateful for the opportunity to assist her in achieving her fitness goals. I thought it would be beneficial to share how to begin reaching your body transformation dreams. Who doesn't want a lean, sexy body! After all, we were all meant to have lean healthy bodies, not frumpy, overweight bodies. If you truly love your body as it is right now and speak kindly to yourself your transformation will happen much more quickly and easily.

Here is what I wrote in an email to my friend...

Okay, for your fitness routine here is a rundown of what I want you to do. Keep in mind each time I give you a list of workouts it will be different to achieve maximum results. I’m all about looking fit and sexy. After all, life is meant to be full of abundance in every area of our lives – including our physical body.

First of all I would like you write down 5 positive affirmations & 5 fitness goals focusing on your physique. Write them and see yourself as though you have already accomplished them. Be sure to love and thank you body each day for being the best it can be. Write your goals on paper (do not type them) so that your subconscious can go right to work on accomplishing your goals. It’s awesome how powerful our minds are, we are truly creators, so why not create the body of our dreams!

After you write your goals and affirmations (be sure to read them aloud daily) get the Body for Life book and put a star by the exercises you enjoy doing. Then use the book examples when working out until the exercise forms are memorized. Good form is crucial. Always workout in front of a mirror to insure you are doing the movements correctly. Alternating days as we discussed do upper and lower body weight training 3 times a week. Be sure to weight train prior to cardio to use up your glycogen stores. Then do interval cardio to burn fat. And always take Go just before working out. Remember we want to train smart to achieve a long, lean physique sooner.

After selecting the exercises do 4 sets of 16 reps the first week then do 20 reps the second week, alternating each week. Start out with a 5 to 10 minute warm up. After you’re warmed up stretch the muscles groups to be worked. You can tear your muscles and cause injury if you do not warm up and stretch prior to your workouts. I always start out with lower weights (dumbbells) for the first two sets and heavier for the second two sets. Be sure to do chest, triceps, biceps, & back in order then repeat the same set sequence until you have finished your 4 sets. Go from one exercise to the next with little mini breaks in between if needed. And then finish your workout with stretching again. If you have time or choose to do cardio the same day as weights do so after weight training. Finish with 20 minute interval training following 10 minutes cool down. After strength training/cardio don’t forget to drink a recovery drink directly after your finished. The recovery drink is just as essential as eating clean. If you only do cardio wait 1 hour before drinking a recovery drink. During that hour your body will burn your glycogen stores. And before you know it you’ll begin to see beautiful, lean muscles in the mirror. It’s awesome!

Follow these guidelines and change your exercise routine weekly to shock your muscles. Your body is amazing gift. It has muscle memory, if you do the same exercises day after day your body will not burn fat as quikly and your physique remain the same. So mix it up, exercise daily and believe in your dreams! Dreams really do come true, if you believe!

SMALL TRICKS FOR BIG WEIGHT LOSS


OCTOBER ALREADY....

Wow! I can't believe its already October! Where has the time gone??? I'm actually looking forward to 2009, this year has been rough with the down slope of the economy. It will be nice to have it behind us once and for all. I'm really looking forward to a highly profitable new year! I'm grateful for all that I have learned this year. Through the difficult times I turned to Heavenly Father for guidance and protection. I'm thankful for the answers to my many heartfelt prayers. As a home builder we were unfortunate and lost a lot of money on our spec home. At the time it was terrifying and caused me to stress and worry. Each day was a different emotional day. At times I was strong and filled with faith, and other I was down and fearful. But in the end as it always does, it all worked out. We learned many valuable lessons, resulting in making me stronger, wiser and more grateful for who I am today. As I said before, I welcome 2009 with enthusiasm for a bright future! Life really is so good!!!
Normally I'm sad when summer comes to an end, but I have to say that we've had the most amazing weather lately. Its been in the high 80's all week! I've been outside soaking up the sunshine as much as possible. Too bad it can't last longer. I look at the beautiful weather as a gift from above. I'm still out riding my horses in short sleeves - I'm loving it! And because the weather is cooling down slowly it enriches the warm feelings of fall. I love the smell of autumn's crisp air. It's fun to bake yummy foods for my children and to spend more time together indoors as a family. My kids love playing together, it warms my heart to hear them laugh and enjoy each other.

Yesterday was loads of fun. I was lucky enough to go horse back riding twice!!! How lucky am I! :) I went with my dear friend Jennifer in the morning. That's her in the picture, that was three years ago. We're definitely kindred spirits. We met while boarding our horses (before I had my barn). We became friends instantly, she's such a light in my life. We have so much fun together. She actually had to sell her horse, Kid, it was sad. But luckily Page adores her. We get together often to ride. She rode Page and I rode Flash yesterday, we were all in heaven together. Then in the evening I rode Page with my "oldest daughter" Lindsey, she rode her horse, Ellie. She's boarding her horse here. Her mom, Angie, is one of my best friends, they're the family that moved into my neighborhood this summer from Chicago. I've loved having them home again. I have to admit I am one blessed girl!

I'VE LOST 5 LBS!!!! YEAH!!!

I had such a fun weekend, I played with my family and rode my horses a lot. Then yesterday I bought a new dressage saddle! I'm excited for it to come, it's very nice . I'm anxious to try it on Flash. He's going to look absolutely stunning. My dear, dear friend Irene (also my Sxinney Sister) is a world famous dressage trainer. She trained 4 Olympic dressage horses and guess what??? She's going to start training me and Flash!!! How lucky am I!!! I feel incredibly blessed to have her in my life. We have such great times together.

Then yesterday I did a video shoot for Zxoom's hook video. They did a rough draft of it, you can check it out at http://www.livfitcafe.com/HVrough.wmv. The final copy will be much better, but this version of it was still great and full of high energy. It's going to be an awesome tool to send out to everyone, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

And to top it all off, I've lost 5 lbs by using a supplement called Go!!! I absolutely LOVE Go & Liv Sxinney. I take Go (an l-arginine product) every morning and evening on an empty stomach. BUILD POWERFUL MUSCLES WITH PROTEIN

Did you know that eating quality protein builds strong, beautiful muscles? A good rule of thumb is to eat at least 20 to 25 grams of pure protein with every meal - including snacks! For example you can eat salmon, tuna, lean red meat, tofu, chicken breasts, turkey, protein powders, protein bars (low carb), fat free cottage cheese & egg whites. Add a complex carb, veggies and some good fats (i.e. flax seed oil, egg yolk, extra virgin olive oil, fish oil, avocado or almonds & walnuts) and you'll have a LivFit meal.

Extra Tip: Always remember to exercise portion control with each meal. A typical portion size is the size of your fist for your three main meals and half that for your snacks.

ARE YOU EATING CLEAN?

Yesterday was so fun! My daughter cantered in her english saddle for the first time and in the rain to boot! She was at her lesson when she did it, her trainer was just as proud of her and I was! She was on cloud 9! Pagie Girl is doing extremely well with her. I'm tickled they love each other so much.

This morning we woke up to a raining overcast day. It's been a long time since we've had a rainy day like today. It makes me want to stay home and read a good book. It also makes me want to make homemade wheat bread, chicken noodle soup and snuggle with my kids when they get home from school. I'm typically a sunshine girl, but it's kind of fun to have rain for a change. My kids love it too.

I want to touch base on the importance of eating a clean diet. My typical diet consist of whole foods with about 10% snacks, or some type of comfort foods. For me a snack would be my home made no-bake cookies made with skim milk, peanut butter, cocoa and oatmeal - it's highly nutritious and very yummy. Or I'll make whole wheat pumpkin (dark chocolate chip) cookies or whole wheat oatmeal cookies. I grind my own wheat so it's extra delicious & nutritious. But I rarely eat those, there's too much fat & sugar despite the nutritional benefits.

Eating clean means to eat foods that are whole & unprocessed. Which means low in sodium & sugar. I try not to eat too many protein bars because of the processing involved. If I'm on the road and am not able to eat a homemade meal then I'll have a cRave and take an all natural protein bar. But my general rule of thumb is to be prepared with my food. If I know I'm going to be gone for a few hours then I'll eat a meal prior to leaving. I eat at least 25 grams of protein and a complex carb, veggies & some good fat right before leaving my home. And I always take my SXinney Water & cRave with me too. It makes a huge difference in keeping my blood sugar level. I love it so much! Seriously!

So try to eat clean every clean 3 to 4 hours, drink at least a 1/2 a gallon to a gallon of water a day and try to eat veggies at least 3 times a day. I have a grocery list in the bottom part of my blog. Use it if you need ideas of what foods to buy to assist you in eating clean. If you follow the 5 meals a day guideline you'll be well on your way to a leaner, happier you! :)

We had such a fun time last night at our Liv Fit Party. My good friend, Kristen, signed up to be a distributor! She's going to do awesome!!! I'm so excited for her. She's not only going to feel better but she'll be able to make a lot of extra income as well. Who doesn't want to be thinner, healthier and richer! Life doesn't get better than that! She's adorable and will do very well for sure!

I did a Liv SXinney video for ZXoom, Tom Jones put it together for me; he did an awesome job. I'm telling you what, everyone related to ZXoom are simply the kindest, most enjoyable people to be around - literally! I am so blessed to have so many new friends, I love them all so much!

LIVFIT CLUB PARTY TONIGHT!!!


Today has been such a great day already. I've got my house cleaned, my yard is being done even as I type and the sun is shining. And to top it all of its FRIDAY!!! Yeah!!! I love the weekends! Its heaven to be with my family all day long, especially on Saturdays & Sundays, we have so much fun hanging out together.
Well tonight I'm having a LivFit SXinney Club party tonight at my home. I'm excited to have everyone over, we're going to have a lot of fun. Heidi, Irene, & Kellyann are hosting it with me. I love them all so much! I have to say it again... I'm incredibly passionate about Liv SXinney, I really do want to help everyone I know who wants to lose weight and improve their health. It has helped me in many amazing ways. I sincerely feel very blessed to be a part of such an outstanding company from the very beginning! We're going to go over the products, business and fitness tips and trick for successful weight loss. I love sharing what I have learned through the years with people who are open and anxious to receive. I feel extremely blessed to have made life long friends who are also distributors for ZXoom.

TIP OF THE DAY...

HEALTHY MOVIE SNACKS

Having your pantry stocked up with healthy snacks is a great way to start a weekend. So when you want to watch a movie or a favorite TV show after a busy week you can make a yummy low calorie snack to help you relax and unwind. Snacking is an emotionally satisfying. Just be wise and kind to your body by choosing healthy snacks that will make you feel good at the end of the day.

HEALTHY SNACKS

1. My favorite! Air-popped popcorn. Use low calorie butter spray and a dash of cinnamon and you've got my favorite treat! It's low in calories & fat and high in fiber & also has protein, so you can enjoy it without guilt.

2. Hummus. Another great healthy snack. Cut up your favorite veggies for chips and you've got a crunchy, delicious treat.

3. Blended beans and salsa. I love fat free refried beans or blended black beans mixed with salsa. For chips I cut up Mission wholegrain tortillas (that are high in fiber and protein) and bake them in my toaster oven. You can also cut up wholegrain pitas, place them on a pan spray butter spray, sea salt and Parmesan cheese and bake them in the oven until toasted - it's wonderful!

4. Fat free cottage cheese and low fat yogurt. I eat this combination daily. It's high in protein and low in calories and its light and refreshing.

Remember that there is nothing wrong with snacking, only wrong choices when choosing to snack. ;)

ARE YOU REALLY HUNGRY?

When beginning a lifestyle change like the LivFit Lifestyle it's important to understand when your body is truly hungry. Did you know that often times when you feel a hunger pang your body is actually telling you its dehydrated? Or even more often its an emotion; you may be board, lonely or stressed which makes you crave comfort foods to help soothe your feelings.

Here's a few rules to go by to keep your hunger in check:

1. Eat often. Eat a SMALL meal every three hours - without any snacking between meals.

2. Wait 10 minutes. When you feel hungry get a tall glass of SXinney Water and a packet of cRave then wait ten minutes. If you're still hungry eat a handful of nuts, but don't over indulge and give in to extra unwanted calories, especially if it's between meals.

HOW TO LIVE A HAPPY & HEALTHY LIFE


What a fun weekend we had as a family. We celebrated Labor Day by having a family barbecue, we had yummy food, wonderful company, and a lot of relaxation. I have to admit that I ate way to much fruit!!! I literally felt like I was going to pop! I was so frustrated with myself... but it at least I didn't eat anything processed or with sugar. Still the same, I had way too much of a good thing. So now that I've recovered I'm back on track! Yeah!

Often times I see people staring at me in a grocery store or at dinner. At first it used to bother me but now I just ignore it. It's because I feel good about myself and people are drawn to a positive person with a high self-esteem (not an arrogant attitude). I've even been approached with questions of how I stay looking young. I thank them then tell them how I live my life. I am richly blessed with a loving family fist and foremost which makes for a happy life. And in return I reflect happiness and security.

Anyone who really wants to live their best life has to want to be happy and feel great. My top ten tips for looking your best and feeling great is sure and simple. It has always worked for me.

LOOK YOUR BEST TIPS

1. Get up in the morning and say aloud or in your mind 5 things that your grateful for. Start your day off right - having the attitude of gratitude.

2. Get showered and put on make up or shave (for you men out there) every day! It doesn't have to take long, by taking pride in yourself is telling those around you that you love who you are. Then put on a nice outfit and not sweats or an oversized T-shirt. By doing so you'll feel better about yourself from the very beginning of the day.

3. Get in an exercise routine. Morning, noon or evening whatever fits your schedule get at least 30 minutes of heart pumping fitness into your day. Try to get your heartrate up in the morning and again in the evening if you can. Make it a priority daily!

4. Tell those around you that you appreciate and love them. The more you are grateful for the more you will have to be grateful! It's a beautiful thing!!!

5. Take at least 10 minutes for yourself each day to ponder and reflect on spirit. Be prayerful daily and know that there are no accidents, everything in life is for our learning and growth. After all, you wouldn't be who you are today without the experiences in your life.

Don't you want to live a long healthy life for your family? Then buck up and eat right! There are no more excuses - eat every 3 hours consisting of a lean protein, complex carb & veggies. It's sweet and simple and you'll feel great too!
