Do YOU Really Want to be Fit?

I'm constantly asked how to get in shape... It's always a mental decision to begin any lifestyle change.  I decided to be fit because I wanted to be a strong mother for my children and a healthy wife for my husband.  I wanted to be free of frustrations and guilt of not fitting my clothes well.  I wanted to have more energy & feel empowered every single day.  And most of all, I wanted to believe in me!  So I made the choice to get in shape.  I decided that eating healthy food tastes a whole lot better than eating high fat foods that only made me feel worse in the morning.  After all, nothings more frustrating than working out hard in the gym only to sabatage my efforts by eating poorly - I've done it a million times and trust me it's not worth it!

It's Up to YOU

Decide today to take control of your health & fitness.  Believe in YOU!  Believe that you can achieve your goals!  Believe that you can have anything that you set your mind to!  And most of all YOU deserve to be fit, healthy & happy.  It really is a conscious choice.  Your mind is your greatest resource & power, your thoughts are literally life changing.  Embrace all that you are by creating positive self talk, exercising daily & eating clean - that means stay away from high sugar, sodium, high fat foods that will only raise the scale in the end... It's just not worth it... YOU have what it takes, we all do.  So get your goals written down, make a plan & then stick to it until you achieve success!

Jumpstart Your Metabolism

Eating breakfast is more than important for so many reasons. You'll not only feel better after a 8 hour fast but you'll also give your muscles the needed energy to develop, burn fat and supply your brain with the needed nutrients for clear mental health.

Studies have shown that starting your day off without breakfast can lead to over eating later in the day. The best way to start your day is with an all natural breakfast consisting of protein and a complex carbohydrate. My favorite meal of the day is my breakfast for many reasons. It not only tastes delicious but it’s my fuel to get me through my busy day.

Carol’s Favorite Oatmeal Breakfast

1/8 cup steal cut oats
1/8 cup whole oats
Small handful of whole wheat
½ cup water

Bring to a boil then put on medium heat and ad ½ cup Vanilla Almond Milk

Mix in 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg

Stir and enjoy!

Oatmeal has many health benefits, not only is it a low glycemic food which process slowly in the digestive track but it may oatmeal also help lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. The soluble fiber in oatmeal slows down your digestive process, which gives you sustained fuel for energy and you'll feel full longer. Oatmeal combined with protein also can help you lose weight. New research suggests that eating oatmeal may reduce the risk for type 2 diabetes too.  Oatmeal is also a great comfort food and warms not only your inside but your emotions as well.

That’s just a few reasons to start your day off right to ensure your metabolism is on kicked in to turbo charge. And remember to eat every 3 to 4 hours through out the day to maintain a high metabolism to create the body of your dreams!

Having uplifting feelings will begin to change your life & physique in remarkable ways.

Today choose to be happy! Release negative emotions and focus on abundance in all areas of your life. Encircle your world with your loved-ones, choose to be filled with love and forgiveness. Cherish your spouse, cuddle with your children, walk your dog; take time to do something that brings you immense joy.

Embrace life to the fullest through love and appreciation for your beautiful body & for your family & close friends. You'll soon realize that your life & body are truly gifts from above…

As you transform your thoughts & emotions your physique will begin to transform with less effort in the gym and you'll also begin to crave healthier foods to fuel your body. It's highly rewarding in countless ways...
