Do you really want to lose weight? Do you want to get in shape and feel the best you've felt in years? If you do, I'm very proud of you, sincerely - I am! Here's a little advice to get big results fast! :)

Everyone knows you need to exercise and eat right to lose weight... but did you know eating only 2 to 3 meals a day will make you gain unwanted fat? That's how sumo wrestlers become so huge, they eat one enormous meal at night and then go to bed. The body can not process a large meal, so what is not used for energy turns to unwanted fat - yuck! By exercising at least 30 to 60 minutes a day consisting of cardio & resistance training in addition to eating 5 to 6 small meals throughout the day you'll literally jump start your metabolism - and who doesn't want that?

Plan ahead, if you fail to plan you plan to fail... Write your goals, workout routines and meals ahead of time and then follow through. By keeping a journal of your diet and exercise you'll be more committed and accountable. Try to eat a lean protein and lots of fresh veggies every 3 to 4 hours. And be sure to have your complex carbs before 2 or 3 pm. And be sure to try to drink 80 oz of water a day. For many that seems like a lot, work up to it if you have to. Scientific studies have proven high water consumption literally will increase your metabolism, as well as remove toxin's from the body - so drink up! Have your last and smallest meal by 7 pm to ensure greatest fat loss results.

Commit today to changing your life for the better. Exercise more, eat 5 to 6 small meals, then believe you can achieve your fitness goals! And before you know it you will! :)

Did you know that there's a smarter way to burn unwanted fat then to spend endless hours doing cardio & aerobics in the gym? It's called Interval Training (IT). You can literally burn more fat with less exercise, that means you'll have more time to accomplish your goals for the day by incorporation IT into your fitness program.

To burn fat faster you need to incorporate IT into your fitness routine. What are intervals? Short energy bursts incorporated throughout a cardio routine, typically done every 4 to 5 minutes with moderate intensity between for 20 minutes.

There are two types of intervals, short intervals lasting from 20 - 30 seconds and long intervals lasting 60 - 90 seconds. Intervals are a high intensity using large muscle groups in the body. Sprints are an excellent way to do IT to burn fat at optimal levels. The beautiful thing about doing intervals for 20 to 30 minutes a day is that you'll burn fat faster during and after exercise. You'll blast fat by using your intramuscular reserves which uses the glycogen stores in the muscles and bloodstream for energy. Within an hour after training have a nutritious high protein (about 25 g) and carb recovery drink directly after your tough workout to replenish much needed energy stores to the muscles. And be sure to drink plenty of water (with Liv Sxinney) and eat a small balanced meal 5 to 6 times a day.

Remember to believe in yourself, set attainable goals and focus on the end result until achieved! You can live your dreams if only you believe!

I've been sick for the past few days and have missed working out big time! It's agonizing for me when I'm down and can't keep up my fitness routine. When I'm not feeling well I'm tired and find that I eat much more than normally because my will power is basically shot... not good! But even when I don't feel a hundred percent I still do some type of exercise, why? Because it keeps my body lean and I feel much happier, I have more self-confidence, I have more energy and I feel sexier for my sweetheart - which leads to really happy things. :)

So why do you want to live a fit life? Have you sincerely taken time to really listen to your heart as to why???? If you have not take time right now and right down a page or more why you want to improve your life, your health and your fitness level. If you have already (good for you) take a moment to read over your list, did all of your reasons focus on other people in your life? Does your list focus on "your" needs? If you set your fitness goals based upon personal self improvement, that's awesome! And if it didn't take time re access why you want to become healthier. Getting in shape for someone else is never the right reason, it's a good reason for sure, but you have to start with your heart and spirit first to truly transform your life and your physique.

So set your dreams and goals, really focus on you! Take time to exercise and eat right every day, not just now and again. As you do your mind will change, your body will crave healthy foods and you'll begin to see the results your desire. And as always, be sure to incorporate Liv Sxinney and Go into your life each day. I’m a member of facebook and have made wonderful new like-minded friends, of whom I will cherish for life (BTW, if you’re on facebook too please add me as a friend , I’d love to meet you!) I have a group everyone is invited to join called LivFit Fitness. I copied today’s message because I believe it is imperative in achieving ultimate health. Fitness is not only healthy but it wards off stress, depression, anxiety and lack of self- esteem. I'm passionate about assisting others to be the best they can be. I continually strive to improve myself and to keep a positive mindset. I live my life on purpose. I live with immense gratitude for everyone and every life experience I am blessed with.

Years ago I used to struggle with anxiety and occasional depression. When I was at the depth of coping with chronic fatigue syndrome I was extremely tired, weak and worn down. I would often complain to my family and friends about how hard life was. I knew I wasn't as happy as I could be. Then one day I decided that I was done living a low energy way of life. I decided to change my way of thinking, I wanted a happier & healthier quality of life. I began by letting go of limiting beliefs that kept me from reaching and achieving my goals. I began reading educational books on diet & nutrition, doing charity for others, being more kind and understanding to those that I once judged or felt hurt by. Soon I began feeling stronger, happier and more alive! I chose to look at the illness as a gift instead of a difficult trial to suffer by. After all, had I not experienced such pain and anguish I would not be where I am today, and for that I am grateful! I still have a hickup of fatigue now and again, but that's okay, I realize now it's my body telling me to slow down and smell the roses... I've learned to listen to my body and respect it.

I continue to improve my emotional skill sets and fitness level. By doing so I was blessed with the gift of Liv Sxinney, it has literally improved my health & fitness in remarkable ways. I love sharing it with others; I know that their life will improve as well. What a fabulous gift to share! Health is everything, it doesn't matter what car you drive, how many toys you have or how big your house is if you can't fully enjoy it. I love Oprah's message this year, Live Your Best Life. Everyone I know wants to lose weight at the first of the year. In order to accomplish this you have to be committed to your goals! And you have to do two things daily: Exercise and Eat Clean.

Make exercise a top priority, set your workout clothes on your bed at night to help motivate you in the morning. You don't have to workout hard, 20 to 30 minutes a day is a great start; before long you'll find yourself wanting to workout longer and harder (especially when you start seeing your physique begin to take form).

Eat clean - by that I mean, no sugar, white flour or processed foods. Your body is a hard working machine that requires clean, pure fuel. If you get the munchies grab some cRave and drink Liv Sxinney to balance your sugar level. And try to eat your last meal by 6 or 7 pm, consisting of clean protein and lots of fresh raw veggies. Most people take better care of their cars and pets than their own body. Living the LivFit Lifestyle is not a diet – it’s truly a way of life. So take you food seriously, and feed your body the energy it desires and needs to work at its optimal level.

The 5lb Meltdown

The Holiday Aftermath....

Well, I'm sad to say that I have to lose the dreaded aftermath of the holidays... I got sick just before Christmas and didn't feel well for several days following. During that time my willpower went down the drain, I decided to enjoy the holiday treats and high calorie meals - big mistake! I have to say again, it absolutely, positively was NOT worth it!!! So now I have to take care of damage control. I'm grateful however that I reminded myself to the misery overeating causes me. I seriously am not as happy when I feel over weight and out of shape. But luckily I was able to jump back up on that wagon and I'm holding on tight, in fact I've handcuffed myself to it... lol. I was too weak to workout for a week but now I'm finally back to feeling strong enough to workout again - yea!!!!

Unfortunately, I gained 6 lbs (most of it water weight) but have already lost 3 of it - thank heavens!!! I'll have the 3 more gone by the end of next week for sure. This is how I'm accomplishing my weight loss goals.

1. I take Go first thing in the morning and again before I go to bed.

2. I'm doing cardio and strength training 6 days a week.

3. I eat a small meal every 3 to 4 hours consisting of protein, fresh veggies & good fats.

3. I'm drinking Liv Sxinney throughout the day and drink at least a gallon of water.

4. I take 2 cRaves a day (1between my main two meals.)

5. I keep a gratitude journal about how grateful I am for my healthy, strong, fit body!

6. I say my personal affirmations daily and constantly give thanks to my Heavenly Father for everything I have been blessed with.

Having an attitude of gratitude is huge in accomplishing your goals. I try to really focus on seeing my body as I want it to be, as though I've already accomplished my goals - especially when I'm working out.

So if you have extra weight to lose, follow these simple steps and you'll be back on track before you know it! =)
