TIP OF THE DAY

FEELING SUCCESS

Success is literally a choice. It's a way of thinking that nothing can stand in the way between you and attaining your fitness, personal, professional and family goals. By altering your thought process you can literally create your life! You are a spiritual being filled with power of creation and light. All things are possible if you believe.

If you truly want to be successful now, then start thinking of yourself as successful, vibrant and full of positive energy.

The only thing that stands between you and what you want from life, is simply the will and faith to try and the feelings of believing that anything is truly possible.

There is nothing on earth that you can't have, once you mentally accept the fact that you can have it. Ask, Believe and Receive! If it's the Lord's will then you will receive and achieve all that your heart desires.

The feeling of success must come first. You must have the feelings of happiness to clear the negative thoughts that suppress you.

If you actually feel successful, if you have a deep inner conviction that you have all that you need - it will be so.

"Whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve." - Napolian Hill

Believe in today, stay focused on goals of tomorrow (with a set date for completion)and accept with great gratitude and love all the abundance life has to offer...

Embrace Life

BALANCE LIFE FOR A HAPPIER, HEALTHIER YOU!

Life is meant to be enjoyed and embraced. How often do you find yourself working all day doing the same routines day in and day out? Do you feel uplifted and full of energy by living behind a computer or working endless hours? Do you often find that you come home from work, your children are needing your attention as well as your spouse but yet you're too tired to really sit and listen to what they have to say, need or want?

Most often than not, when you fall into stagnant water it's because you do not have balance in all areas of your life. When we become overwhelmed or discouraged it's because we're not taking time out of our busy schedule to sit back and smell the roses, or to listen to our children play or talk to a dear friend that you haven't spoken to in awhile. Life is about flowing with the stream, enjoying the brook along the way.

What are your hobbies, what brings pleasure? What do you like to do? Often times people really don't know what their hobbies are - if you don't have a hobbies then I suggest you take time to sit down and discover your truth and desires that are in your heart. By embracing the fun, childhood side of spirit life becomes more alive and vibrant. I love horses!!! They bring such peace and joy into my life. Each day I spend time with my horses, weather I'm giving them a hug or going for a ride. They enlighten my spirit in a powerful, spiritual way; they're always there for me as my best friends and love me unconditionally. I make it a point to be with them daily to refresh and renew my energy level. Doing what you love brings happiness into your life, it raises your endorphins which will also increase your immune system.

Surround yourself with people that bring you up and support you in your goals and dreams. Focus on the good in life. Pray often. Exercise daily. Eat clean, wholesome, nutritious food to nurture your beautiful gift, your body. Take time each day to do what you love. Laugh with your family and friends, eat dinner together at least 3 times a week and embrace life in all that it has to offer. By doing so you'll create a world of joy, a world of love and a world of peace. And after all isn't that what we strive for each new day?

GETTING STARTED

HOW TO GET MOTIVATED

I'm often asked, "How can I get motivated to exercise???" Well here's what I tell people... It all comes down to loving and caring for who you are now; loving you enough to take charge of your health and wellness. As with everything in life you have to prioritize your time and goals. If you really want to take better care of your body then you have to set at least 20 to 30 minutes aside each day to get your heart rate up. Your body craves exercise equally as it craving proper foods and nutrition. Eating clean is 90% of the equation in achieving optimal health and fitness. Eat small meals frequently consisting of a lean protein (at least 25g), a complex carb and veggies every 3 hours and drinking at least 80 oz of filtered water a day will kick start a lazy metabolism. Have your last meal by 7 pm; consider the kitchen closed for the evening after your last meal. And if you feel like you absolutely have to have something to eat before bed have some casein protein which comes from milk products for example, fat-free cottage cheese and an apple would be an excellent choice.

By making these simple lifestyle changes you'll have more energy, feel happier, look healthier as well as you'll have more self confidence. Make yourself a priority to nurture your body, mind and spirit each day and before you know it you'll be living the LivFit Lifestyle! And try to stay away from refined foods, white flour and sugar they’ll only spike your insulin levels which will end up as fat stores if not used as fuel and they'll leave you feeling sluggish and tired after the sugar high wears off. Also, set five attainable short term goals for the week, focus and feel as though you’ve already achieved them, and before you know it you will have altered your mindset to a positive, powerful way of thinking which will lead you down the road to success!

QUOTES OF THE DAY

STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE

Think of yourself as on the threshold of unparalleled success. A whole, clear, glorious life lies before you. Achieve! Achieve!
- Andrew Carnegie

What is the recipe for successful achievement? To my mind there are just four essential ingredients: Choose a career you love...Give it the best there is in you... Seize your opportunities...And be a member of the team.
- Benjamin F. Fairless

Within us all there are wells of thought and dynamos of energy which are not suspected until emergencies arise. Then oftentimes we find that it is comparatively simple to double or treble our former capacities and to amaze ourselves by the results achieved. Quotas, when set up for us by others, are challenges which goad us on to surpass ourselves. The outstanding leaders of every age are those who set up their own quotas and constantly achieve them.
- Thomas J. Watson

Striving for excellence motivates you; striving for perfection is demoralizing.
- Harriet Braiker
