Starting an exercise routine can seem overwhelming to some people, they don’t know how or when to start or they just don’t understand how important it is to exercise daily.

I hear all kinds of excuses why people don’t exercise. I often hear, "I wish I was motivated to exercise…" Well, it all comes down to caring enough about you to take charge of your health and wellness now!

As with everything in life you have to prioritize what’s most important to you. If losing weight is one of your desires then you have to make time for exercise each day. Set attainable goals that you can achieve. Make fitness a priority! Your body craves fitness just as much as it craves sleep and proper nutrition.

By making simple lifestyle changes you'll have more energy, you’ll feel happier and healthier as well as you'll feel empowered and have more self-confidence. Here are some motivating tips to assist you in getting moving today!

CAROL'S TOP-10 WAYS TO STAY MOTIVATED

1. MAKE YOUR WORKOUTS A HIGH PRIORITY
Schedule your workouts on your calendar as you would a business meeting. If you can workout first thing in the morning that’s perfect! You’ll have it done for the day and have a feeling of self fulfillment, it’s a great feeling. You’ll also have extra energy to get you through the day.

2. SET ATTAINABLE GOALS
Write down 5 short term goals in the present tense followed by a completion date. Create a detailed plan for success. Be specific such as, "I workout 30 minutes each day." or "I eat a small balanced meal every 3 hours." Then see yourself as though you have already accomplished your goals. Feel what it feels like to be at your perfect body weight, imagine your world as you want it to be.

3. CHOOSE A LOCATION TO WORKOUT
Choose a gym close to home or create your own gym. All you need are dumbbells, a bench and a mirror and you’ll have your very own gym right at home! Create your gym by making it fun; have a fitness poster to motivate you, have a TV & a DVD player to follow along with your favorite workouts, or have a radio to play music loudly to add liveliness to your workouts.

4. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
Love everything about you. Loving yourself unconditionally will open your heart to believing in you! I always say "Believe in your dreams because dreams really do come true!" If it’s your dream to be fit and thin then BELIEVE YOU ARE NOW. Our minds are very powerful. By loving and believing in you all things are possible.

5. STAY POSITIVE & HAVE AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE
Be grateful for your body as it is now. Give thanks as though you have already accomplished your fitness and wellness goals. See yourself as the perfect health, size, shape and weight as you aspire to be. The more you are grateful for the more you'll have to be grateful for!

6. KEEP A FITNESS JOURNAL
Journal keeping is imperative for fitness and weight loss success. Having a journal for diet and exercise is a great way to track your growth and improvements. Using a diet journal holds you accountable for everything you eat & drink, it will help you immensely. Be honest and write down everything you eat. You'll begin to think twice about what you put in your mouth.

7. CREATE A SUPPORT GROUP
Having a buddy system is a huge benefit to assist you in your weight loss efforts. Tell all of your family and friends your goals and then you will feel less likely to want to overeat at a family gathering or social events with your friends. Exercise with a friend, it’s so much more fun to workout with friends. Surround yourself with people that believe in you and that will support you in your fitness goals and dreams.

8. HIRE A FITNESS COACH/TRAINER
Hire a fitness guru to help you learn how to properly plan your meals and exercise routines. Be selective; follow your heart in choosing the right coach or trainer for you. There are all sorts of trainers and coaches from yoga to bodybuilding to choose from. Finding the right one for you will give you more self-confidence in the gym and more will-power at home. Being accountable to someone who you look up to will skyrocket you to success.

9. GET ENOUGH SLEEP
Sleep is an imperative to achieving a lean, fit body. Your body repairs worked muscle tissues during sleep. Try to get to bed by 10:30 pm each evening so your body can recover properly. You’ll not only have more energy the next day but you’ll feel stronger too!

10. FOLLOW THROUGH
Start your fitness plan today. Follow through with your goals, journal writing and exercise routine daily. Set your goals, write down a timeline when you will reach your goals, then reward yourself when you do. Get a pedicure, see a movie you've always wanted to see, or read a good book.

If you commit to regular exercise you'll soon discover that it will become a way of life. Staying motivated is a mindset. Believe in yourself and enjoy the new you!

I've had a fantastic week! Since my Healthy Living segment aired last Tuesday I've had the privilege to hear from a lot of amazing people. Each have been a gift in my life and have brought joy to my heart. I feel richly blessed to have been given the opportunity to share my passion of health and wellness with thousands of homes across the nation. I've been edified by incredible individuals who have contacted me. Some have reached out asking for assistance in their weight loss & wellness goals, while others just stopped by to say hi and thanked me for my message and example.

I have to say that I love what I do, I love people! Each new day is truly a gift from above. I always look forward to meeting new friends each morning... I'm a big fan of Facebook, I've made lifelong friends who have touched my spirit deeply. How awesome to have the world at my finger tips... who would have ever thought such things would be possible... :)

KUTV 2 NEWS TONIGHT AT 5:00 pm

FIRST SEGMENT AIRS TONIGHT

I'm excited to watch KUTV News tonight at 5 pm. They're airing a segment on my life. When Carla (the producer) first asked me if they could do a segment on my life and how I accomplished living a fit lifestyle I have to admit that I was taken back a bit.... I was honored and graciously accepted her kind offer, but in the back of my mind I thought... Really??? Me???

It made me ponder my life and my purpose here on earth. What was I going to say that would touch the hearts of those who felt impressed to watch my segment? I felt inspired to share what I am truly passionate about and to speak from my heart. I talked about my earlier years when I was so sick and how I learned from my life experiences. And about my passion to teach others to love themselves unconditionally and to put themselves first... Too many mother's forget about themselves and serve others all day long without giving a second thought to take time out of their hectic schedules to care for themselves. Which often leads to low self-esteem and fatigue.

I receive countless messages asking for guidance in how to creat a healthy lifestyle. With each reply I always take a minute to feel the energy from the person before I answer their questions. I'm always honored to assist others in their pursuit of health and wellness by teaching them how to live a LivFit Lifestyle.

So I hope tonight's segment is well received, it will be highly rewarding if only but one heart is touched my my sincerity. I hope to do more with Carla in the future. She's an absolute doll and we really did have so much fun! I feel so blessed and give thanks for all the abundance in my life. Life really is so gooood!!!

KUTV Film Day

KUTV 2 NEWS FILM DAY =)




Tuesday was such a great day! KUTV News came to my home to film for their Healthy Living segments. We had a ball! And it's no wonder, Carla loves horses too! She really's awesome, we really did have so much fun! I look forward to our future endeavors together. She did an interview based on my life on how I was able to regain my health by loving myself unconditionally, then incorporating proper nutrition and daily exercising. She also did a take on the LivFit Transformation program & Liv SXinney. Jeff Tuttle, the CEO of Liv International came too. It was a day to remember for years to come.

I'm sincerely passionate about assisting others in creating a happier, healthier life. Living the LivFit lifestyle so incredibly rewarding on so many levels. Choosing to learn all I could about health and wellness changed my life, as well as using Liv SXinney products. I'm deeply thankful for the great abundance in all areas of my life. It's my dream to inspire, motivate and educate thousands of people across the world to learn to love who they are today. By doing so the body does amazing things... HOW TO REACH YOUR GOALS

GOAL SETTING

As many of you know I'm a firm believer of setting and accomplishing my goals. When I was a teenager I was diagnosed with Rheumatic Fever. I was on penicillin for 6 years which ultimately destroyed my immune system. Soon after I became very ill and was in bed for most of the day struggling with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I wasn't as happy as I could have been, I didn't have the needed engery to raise my beautiful family as I should. I often look at life as a struggle because of my poor health.


Then one day an answer to my prayers came to my mind as clear as day, I was told to begin exercising daily and to learn all I could about health and nutrition. At first I thought, "How can I? I don't have the energy..." But I knew prompting was divinely given, so I began to study all I could on health and wellness. I researched about energy, diet & exercise. I read tons of books, bought countess DVD'S and CD's, I took classes and wrote in my journal often about what I had learned and how my life and health had improved so dramatically. I couldn't get enough... I soon became a health nut. My family couldn't believe how much healthier I had become - they were amazed and thrilled to have me back on my feet again. I was happier, felt empowered and my self confidence soared. I exercised daily and ate as healthy as I knew how. I also studied all I could about the benefits of supplements and vitamins. I incorporated lots of supplements in addition to eating whole, clean foods to properly fuel and heal my body. I was amazed at how my quality of life improved so dramatically - it was truly miraculous to me.

I was deeply grateful for Heavenly Father's guidance. By following the promptings of the Spirit I regained my life back! My world became bright again, the earth became more radiant, I had tons more energy! I was truly living my life on purpose. Family and friends began asking me what I was doing... they could see the difference in me and wanted to learn how to improve their life too. I began teaching groups of people in my friends homes on how to improve their health and wellness through positive energy and diet. I loved assisting other's and became passionate about it. I soon learned that my life's mission is to motivate, educate and inspire other's to live a happier, healthier life. After all, that's how we were created to be.

That was many years ago... Since then I've been blessed with many wonderful people that have come into my life, I love each one of them and am grateful for their light in my life.

I am passionate about setting attainable goals, believing in positive affirmations, and allowing my dreams to come true. I dream BIG DREAMS! I live my life on purpose, I have an attitude for gratitude in my heart and know that I never walk alone. And for this I am thankful. Life is meant to be joyful, filled with great abundance in all areas of our lives. And without good health one can't fully embrace and enjoy all the bountiful blessings life has to offer.

One of my goals was to be a cover girl; to motivate and inspire other's to live their best life. I created a vision board and put a small picture of a fitness magazine cover on it. I set my intention that I was a cover girl and gave thanks for it. I visualized my face on a fitness magazine and believed I was deserving. A couple of months later I was asked to be a cover girl for PERFECTIFY Magazine, I was honored & thrilled by their generous offer and accepted their kind invitation. I'm now a cover girl! My heart and soul are filled with thankfulness and love. I give thanks for yet another goal & dream that has come to fruition. You too can have your dreams & goals come true if they are meant to be. Dreaming big dreams is a gift. Believe that you are deserving, set clear, laser focused goals and allow your dreams to come true. Always start your dreams, goals & positive affirmations in the present tense, starting with "I am so grateful now that..." Then set a date when you will accomplish them. Read them aloud several times a day with enthusiasm and belief. Remember, everything is energy and the strongest feelings (energy) always wins.

If improving your health and wellness is on your list of to-do's then begin today to love yourself enough to do something about it. Set goals, give thanks often for all the miraculous gifts in your life, then feel the feelings of accomplishing your goals. All things are possible if you only believe....

I was introduced to Liv Skinney water in May 2007. Not long before, I was told I had high blood pressure and I would probably died during the night. Now I had to be on medication and would probably be on it the rest of my life. I was very overweight at 164 lbs and needed to drop my weight by 30 lbs. I was 46 1/2 inches around my stomach, 44 1/2 inch bust and 43 inch waist. I had lost 3 1/2 inches in height over the last few years. ( From 5 1/2 inches to 4 feet 11 inches) . The extra weight made be look even bigger. My health was starting to be the most important issue in my life. I loved Chocolate, Muffins and Cinnamon Buns. At work I would often get a bagel, when I was hungry. Night time was a big problem, because the wrong type of food was always handy. I over eat when over tired, under tension or stress. For years I had major stress in my life. My body was now the product of this type of lifestyle. Staying in bed was not an option for me.

I had to find something that would agree with my Kidney. I have been bleeding from the kidney for 35 years and now the bleeding was increasing and I had severe pain. I had to look for foods with no food additives, no salt and very little protein. I bought as many fresh foods as I could. Balancing my protein was very important to me. I need protein, but could not eat it alone. I have to limit the amount of protein I ate at each meal or I am in severe pain. I was searching for something to help me live A NORMAL LIFE again. I set my goal to get my weight under control and lower my blood pressure. My heart was Okay.

Liv Sxinney was just being introduced in Canada and I decided to join my friends, as all these products were health foods. It was great sharing our experiences with the products. We all agreed we could not overeat while taking the Liv Sxinney product.

The first two weeks I went through detoxifing and had to cut the liv sxinney concentrate in half and slowly bring the concentarte up to the recommended mix. I did this slowly over a two and one half week period. I wanted my kidney to accept this product. It was a joy to not be in pain. You never want to experience severe Kidney pain. Taking any medication does increase the bleeding in my kidney. I have to go with all fresh foods.

In June, my Mother past away and this upset my routine. During the next five months, my body was going through a change. I had more energy, and no pain in my kidney area. I did not have the leg aches at night, my sinuses cleared up and my chest problem cleared up. I lost inches first. and fat off my back. ( Stomach 42 1/2 inches, bust 41 1/2 inches and waist 42 inches) Total of 20 lbs, ( in five month period) but I still have a big problem with high blood pressure. I was amazed and pleased at how my body was adjusting to Liv Sxinney.

Beginning in Sept to Dec, I attended five funerals. Twice during this time, I was not drinking my Liv Sxinney, for a 10 day period at a time. On both occasions, I was right back at the beginning of my journey. -- especially with leg aches and pain in my kidney. As soon as I started back on my regular routine, I was balanced again and no pain again. Liv Sxinney if definitely for me. I learned the hard way.

In the fall, the other products were added and I order them. Next I added the Blox and this was an interesting exprience for me, so I stopped using it. I should of started slowly with this product as well. I never took this product again until I understood how to take it. The last week in March, I took the product again correctly and with no problem.

I October, I added the 'Crave,' to my Sxinney water and this was a mistake. It was also a big blob in my bottle and I could not get it out easily. I did not lose any weight. I also had to take only a small amount of crave at a time until my body adjusted to the extra fiber.
I added the, 'Go,' to my sxinney water and this also was a mistake. By Feb I had gained back three lbs. ( My holidays and Christmas. )

I attended the training in January, I learned how to take the products correctly. I also listened to the book , The Slight Edge, on tape, while travelling to Utah with my friends. I never believed in weight lifting and did not understand how it could be added to my lifestyle. I have also had a right hip replacement and crippling arthritis. Excercizing took all my energy away and it often took me two week to recover. I often spend many days in bed until I was free of pain.

The Slight Edge taught me to beginning slowly by just doing whatever I needed to do anyway. Just start with two each and do it regularly. I joined the Liv Fit Club. As I am still working. I am a Tailor in a Men's Shop. This occupation is very hard on your body. I had to begin my Liv Fit program at 6:00 o'clock in the morning. The first two weeks, I did 10 minutes excerizing each morning and now I can go 10 minutes, twice a day before Breakfast. I do not count the walking. In three weeks I have lost three pounds, one each week. I am waiting for the spring weather so I can do more walking. I have to be careful, because of the hip replacement. It has been very cold here and I cannot stand the cold. I will build my muscle so I can do more walking and use my excerize bike.

Having a Trainer has made a difference in my understand how to use the products, what to eat and how to eat it, as well as how to begin adding exercises to my everyday life. This week I added the Top 10 excercises from The Arthritis Society. ( Bascially it is to keep my joints moving) I enjoy listening to the problems others are sharing. Sometimes I say to myself, that has happened to me as well.

10 days ago, I visited a Arthritis Doctor, and another Drug was added to my lifestyle, which severely upset my body. My kidney did not accept the pills at all. I stopped taking everything for a day and spent a day in bed. I began the week again with Liv Sxinney and I am doing just fine on it. Prescribed drugs certainly do not agree with me.

I now believe that just because I am a Seniors, life does not stop and I can overcome anything life throws in my way. I intend to walk straight, keep active and pain free. Liv Sxinney is definitely for me.
